Life Behind Bars was born from a simple truth — BMX riders in Southern Africa deserve better access to the parts, frames, and gear that fuel their passion.

For too long, riders had to wait months for orders, pay inflated import costs, or compromise on quality. We set out to change that.

We’re not just a store — we’re riders, racers, and builders who understand what it means to chase speed, progression, and community. Our mission is to provide top-tier products, fast service, and fair prices, so riders can focus on what matters most: riding.
